Highlights:

Both Mrs. Daniels and Ms. Mui’s classes had Character Circle with our principal, Mrs. Goldenberg today.  We discussed what it means to show the virtue of “Courage” and shared examples of when we use courage, to face our fears and when we encounter difficult tasks.  She read a book called The Enormous Potato, a story about giving as it relates to our December virtue of “Service”.  As a whole school, we will be donating non-perishable food to the Food Bank and making socks (with shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste) for The Alex again this year. 

We also learned about the final silent e, that is in our spelling words for this week (e.g. name, game, came).

Homework:

Tuesday: same, made, delete, time

Wednesday: like, bike, ride, write

 --We completed our morning math problem and looked at various ways to solve the problem. 

--We had an indoor recess at lunch today.  

-- Ms. Mui’s class: - We continued sorting today in Math using 1 attribute. We discussed Courage and wrote about it today.

-- Mrs. Daniels’ class: We interviewed Kaidan today.
