Highlights:
- We had our first spelling quiz today. Books will stay at school over the weekend for marking.
-We had Drum Fit in gym again today>

-- Ms. Mui’s class: -  We made patterns on our 100’s chart by counting by 10’s. We also had Daily 5 today.   We had music today.

-- Mrs. Daniels’ class: We had reading buddies todayJ. Today we read a story about Remembrance Day and brainstormed as a class what “Peace” means. We the wrote in our journals about what peace means to us.  We looked at 10 frames in math today.

          
         
Important Information:  ***  Please sign and return all blue forms that have gone home this week!!!   Thank you for those that have already.  Please complete and return your book orders.

Homework:
Books stay at school for marking on the weekend.

-Home-Reading – Please have your child read around 15 minutes every night.

-Kidsa-z.com Reading – Besides reading the at-home white readers that are going home every day, you may also log on to “Raz-Kids”, using the kidsa-z.com website.  The login information is taped on your child’s purple folder.  The password is the picture cue.

Farm to school fundraiser------ Green Sheets went home today.  Fundraise as much as you can and bring your sheets back by Thursday November 12!
Parents can pick up their orders November 26 & 27********this is a correction on the green sheet it says the wrong date!!!!1

Reminders:
-Book Orders – Please Return by next Friday November 13th.
-Music- Blue Sheets went home yesterday regarding our December winter concert. Kindly fill out whether your child will be in attendance for both performances and return by Monday.  (please note: there was a typo on the form; the concert date is Wednesday December 9th)
- CNIB Blue Sheets  Please sign and return if you have not already!!!!!    
*****Thank you for the overwhelming volunteer response for this activity!  Unfortunately we will only be able to have 1 parent volunteer from each classroom.  We will notify the selected parent volunteer.  If you are not notified, we will be able to have you in on another opportunity.  Thank you so much parents for understanding :):)

Must have order in by the Sunday before the booked lunch day. Preorders are accepted for dates in advance.)
2016 Panorama Hills School Yearbook:

Inside your child’s individual photo package is a white sheet about the 2016 PHS Yearbook.  With the purchase of a portrait package, yearbooks are available for the SPECIAL price of $20 each.  This price expires on December 31, 2015.  Yearbooks purchased after December 31, 2015 will be priced at $30 each.  Yearbooks will be printed and delivered to the school in June.
