Tuesday March 8, 2016

Highlights:
Mrs. Daniel’s class has been practicing kindness every morning in our kindness circle. This is a great way to start our day and to share with a classmate something kind.

Mrs. Leung-Chow’s class took a look at some of our new March Poems.  So fun reading our song and poem books together.

We had our responsibility assembly this afternoon. We listened to the other Grade 1 classes share their ideas about what responsibility looks like and sounds like. The afternoon Kindergarten classes also sang us a song.  See the picture below.

Homework:

Tell and Show – Lets think of lively, lovely, little words for “L” this week.

Home Reading – Please have your child read around 20 minutes every night.  Don’t forget to ask questions and have conversations about the text.
