fun things about mountain sheep, deer, black bears, bison… and scat! In Gym today we played 2 different kinds of tag. We were running so fast and our heart rate was pumping! We also practiced for our student led conferences on Thursday night and Friday. The students are very excited to be “the teacher” and show their families everything they have been learning. Panorama Hills School Cookbook Update
Yay! We now have over 200 recipes.
The classes of Mr. Laser, Ms. Fleming, Mrs. Leong
and Miss Laslo had the opportunity to work with some Diefenbaker High School
students to create the cover and divider pages for the cookbook. We learned
techniques for sketching our ideas, adding details and shading images.
We invite you to continue submitting family
recipes through our Survey Monkey or by sending it with your child to
school until Spring Break.
We will be donating the profits from the sales of
the cookbook to Brown Bagging For Calgary’s Kids (BB4CK), which helps provide a
nutritious lunch to many students in Calgary schools.
Thank you for supporting this wonderful charity!
We look forward to seeing your tasty submissions!
