Highlights:
We had our final grapheme test today!! Way to go everyone, we
will continue to practice in class, please continue to go over them at home as
well. We started our 6th word

around 20 minutes every night.

reading the at-home white readers that are going home every day, you may also
log on to “Raz-Kids”, using the kidsa-z.com website. The login
information is taped on your child’s purple folder. The password is
the picture cue.

Most pediatricians
strongly support parent-child reading and story time to promote early brain
development. The Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) website for parents is
filled with great suggestions for parents regarding how to read consistently to
their children:

important that the students are on time in order to start uninterrupted
classroom instruction right away in the morning. If you are arriving late students must enter
through the office and obtain a late slip. ****** Thank you for your continued support and

-PHS School monthly Calendar and newsletters are available on the school website to view and
print out
-Milk Cards can be
purchased at the office, for students staying at school for lunch
-2016 Panorama Hills School Yearbook:
Inside your child’s individual photo package is
a white sheet about the 2016 PHS Yearbook. Yearbooks are $30
each. Yearbooks will be printed and delivered to the school in June.
