Highlights:
We had a shaker test today and listened to different mystery boxes and had to guess what was inside.  We had our practice quiz on our spelling words this morning….practice tonight for the quiz tomorrow.

This week is letter E… Have fun and remember the students should be sounding out their clues independently. If someone has forgotten C….or D…. please complete them this weekend and they may present this week. 

-Home Reading – Please have your child read around 20 minutes every night.
-Kidsa-z.com Reading – Besides reading the at-home white readers that are going home every day, you may also log on to “Raz-Kids”, using the kidsa-z.com website.  The login information is taped on your child’s purple folder.  The password is the picture cue.

-Monday February 1 –Non instructional day, no school for students

Most pediatricians strongly support parent-child reading and story time to promote early brain development. The Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) website for parents is filled with great suggestions for parents regarding how to read consistently to their children:
-PHS School monthly Calendar and newsletters are available on the school website to view and print out
-Milk Cards can be purchased at the office, for students staying at school for lunch
-2016 Panorama Hills School Yearbook:

Inside your child’s individual photo package is a white sheet about the 2016 PHS Yearbook.   Yearbooks are $30 each.  Yearbooks will be printed and delivered to the school in June.
