Monday January 4, 2016 ~~ WELCOME BACK!!

Highlights:

We did our morning math problem.  We also wrote about our winter holidays.  We also met Mrs. Leung-Chow!!  She is back from maternity leave and we are so excited to have her!!   We did balancing in gym class today. 

Homework:

-Tell and Show for Letter C.

- 2 lines of each grapheme (5 times on each line) say the grapheme as you write it.

Monday: ey “they”  “hockey” and eigh “eight”

-Home-Reading – Please have your child read around 20 minutes every night.


-Kidsa-z.com Reading – Besides reading the at-home white readers that are going home every day, you may also log on to “Raz-Kids”, using the kidsa-z.com website.  The login information is taped on your child’s purple folder.  The password is the picture cue.

Important Dates:

-Thursday January 14 – School Spirit Day (Blue and Gold Day): Wear your PHS t-shirts or hoodies you purchased from the School Council or wear blue or gold.  We are encouraging students to purchase a PHS shirt to support School Council.    

-Thursday January 14 – Movie Night for families, in the School Gym

-Friday January 15 – Non- Instructional Day – No school for students

-Thursday January 28 – School Council 7pm

-Friday January 29 – Report Cards Home

Reminders: 

-PHS School monthly Calendar and newsletters are available on the school website to view and print out

-Milk Cards can be purchased at the office, for students staying at school for lunch

-2016 Panorama Hills School Yearbook:

Inside your child’s individual photo package is a white sheet about the 2016 PHS Yearbook.   Yearbooks are $30 each.  Yearbooks will be printed and delivered to the school in June.
