Highlights:
We played q-tip golf today in gym. We had lots of fun trying to get our plastic
ball in the basket with our group.
In science we made a life cycle wheel of
the gladiola. 1st stage was the bulb, next was the sprout, next the
stem and leaves, last the flower. This will go into our gladiola booklet we are
creating. J

Home Reading –
Please have your child read around 20 minutes every night. Don’t forget
to engage your child by talking to them about the text. Being a good
reader is more than just knowing the words!! Good readers will: make
connections, ask and answer questions, visualize the text, make inferences and
transform their thinking.
Alternatives to Traditional Reading –
Part of being a good reader is understanding how to tell a story!
Sometimes listening to a good book is just as educational as reading a good
book. Please check out the links below for alternatives for those days where
you’d like to a change of pace.
