Highlights:
Today our classes had a very special
visitor… Michelle! She is our artist in
residence and is a teacher/painter.
Today she taught us 11 different techniques using watercolour. Michelle will be back on April 12th
to teach us how to apply the techniques we practiced in class, to creating a
watercolour daffodil or tulip.

Dream Box: Dreambox is an interactive math program that the students have been
working on here at school. We encourage
the students to log in at home and practice developing their problem solving
skills. Teachers are able to track their progress and see what areas they are

Home Reading – Please
have your child read around 20 minutes every night. Don’t forget to ask questions and have
conversations about the text.
Kidsa-z.com Reading –
Besides reading the at-home white readers that are going home every day, you
may also log on to “Raz-Kids”, using the kidsa-z.com website. The
login information is taped on your child’s purple folder.

Inside your child’s individual photo
package is a white sheet about the 2016 PHS Yearbook. Yearbooks are
$30 each. Yearbooks will be printed and delivered to the school in
June.
