Highlights:
Today Mrs. Daniel’s class got a chance
to explore as engineers! Along with our
guest teacher, Ms. Hanson, the students learned about how to construct stable objects
and what different materials structures could be made from. Amid must laughter and cooperation, students built
newspaper stools that were able to hold up Ms. Hanson!
Our personal shields are almost
complete! Today we used a fancy “font”
and wrote out our name. Some students
decided to use bubble letters, others decorated their name using dots, while
other students used colour to make their names stand out.
Homework:
Monday:
write, writing, run, running
Tuesday:
get, getting, sit, sitting
Wednesday:
good, old,
gold, eat
Thursday: Review quiz
Friday: Word Study
Quiz!
Tell
and Show: The week for open and orderly “O” is almost done. So far there are been no obnoxious or obtuse clues!
Dream Box: Dreambox is an interactive math program that the students have been
working on here at school. We encourage
the students to log in at home and practice developing their problem solving
skills. Teachers are able to track their progress and see what areas they are excelling
in or that may need improvement. Here is the link: https://play.dreambox.com/login/dq8q/panoramahs
