Highlights:
Our classes got to start our We Do! project today.  Students were paired up with a friend from the other class and had to decide which animal they were going to build.  Students worked diligently together, reading the directions and following instructions.

We continued working on our monster writing today, editing our b-o-r-i-n-g sentences and making them SCARY!  Mrs. Leung-Chow actually got chills when she read her students’ work.

Homework:
Literacy M.A.P. – Take a break for the weekend!

Tell and Show – Looking forward to hearing about “J” next week.

Home Reading – Please have your child read around 20 minutes every night.  Don’t forget to ask questions and have conversations about the text.

Kidsa-z.com Reading – Besides reading the at-home white readers that are going home every day, you may also log on to “Raz-Kids”, using the kidsa-z.com website.  The login information is taped on your child’s purple folder.

Ask Me About:
What animal did you and your partner choose to create with Lego?  What was the hardest part of building?  What was the easiest part of building?
