Highlights:
Both classes had a chance to explore on the computers again today.  Students learned how to create and name a file folder, use a dictation program on Microsoft Word and save a document into their folder.  It was tricky work, but we persevered and got it done!

Happy early Valentine’s Day!  It was so much fun delivering the special notes and reading the messages.

Mrs. Daniel’s class had their in-class field trip today.  They learned all about the 5 senses: taste, smell, sound, sight and touch.  Students even got a pair of 3D goggles!!  Thank you to all the parent volunteers how came and helped out.

Homework:

Literacy M.A.P. – Take a break!  J

Tell and Show – This week is letter “H”.   If you usually share your Tell and Show on Thursday or Friday, please bring it in tomorrow. (as there is no school on either of those days).

Home Reading – Please have your child read around 20 minutes every night.  Don’t forget to ask questions and have conversations about the text.

Kidsa-z.com Reading – Besides reading the at-home white readers that are going home every day, you may also log on to “Raz-Kids”, using the kidsa-z.com website.  The login information is taped on your child’s purple folder.
