Our classes had a special meeting this
morning with Mrs. Zaharichuk. Starting
this Friday, our classes will be working on a “We Do” project… also known as
LEGO! Students from both classes will be
paired up and are expected to work together to:
-
pick an animal to build
-
follow the building directions
-
create a computer code to meet the criteria set up by the teachers
Continuing to learn more about
community, we watched a video that explained the differences between an urban, suburban
and rural area. After a group discussion,
students had the opportunity to fill out their “nieghbourhood” portion of their
oval books.
Mrs. Goldenberg stopped by for a short
visit in Mrs. Leung-Chow’s room and we had a discussion about ‘loyalty’. Did you know that you can show loyalty to
your parents by listening to what they say?
You can also show loyalty to a friend by sticking up for them and
loyalty to your pets by making sure you walk and feed them on time.
