Highlights:
Miss. Atwal has been preparing us for
Jump Rope for Heart in gym! We have been
practicing skipping forwards, backwards, on one foot and on two… it’s hard
work! There will be an assembly on
Thursday to teach us about a fundraiser our school will be involved in.
Throughout the month, students have
been working on writing kindness notes to their peers. Every child created a special bag to contain
their treasures and each day one student is picked to receive a bag full of
thoughtfully written letters. I wonder… when will it be my turn?
Ethan has a problem, his monster Gabe
has gone off on a fishing trip and now he can’t fall asleep! Mrs. Daniel’s read us this funny book, all
while giving us a challenge: “Listen very carefully, because at the end of the
story, there will be a test!” What was
the test? For students to remember all
the descriptive clues shared throughout the story about our mysterious friend
Gabe, and then draw and describe him.
