Our two classes had Part I of our 5
senses assessment today. Students got to
a chance to share how much they have learned in class. Tomorrow we will be doing Part II of our
assessment.
Wow, there were so many students
wearing pink shirts today! The whole
school was overflowing with kindness… what a wonderful feeling!
Sincere apologies to all the
volunteers who came in today for Mrs. Leung-Chow’s in class field trip! There was a misprint on the calendar and the
ACTUAL date of the field trip is tomorrow.

Tell and Show – This week it’s all about “J”! We
have been hearing so many “juicy” new clues, putting us in a “jolly” mood.
Home Reading – Please have your child read around 20 minutes every night. Don’t forget to ask questions and have conversations about the text.
Kidsa-z.com Reading – Besides reading the at-home white readers that are going home every day, you may also log on to “Raz-Kids”, using the kidsa-z.com website. The login information is taped on your child’s purple folder.

Don’t forget to read, sign and return the blue field trip form by Monday, February 29th, for our school wide field trip to the CIS International Women’s hockey game. Both Mrs. Daniels and Mrs. Leung-Chow's class have enough parent volunteers for this field trip, thank you!

SPRING FOOD DRIVE
Panorama Hills School will be hosting a Spring Food Drive from Feb. 29 - March 17. Please bring non-perishable food items (see below list) and place them in the donation boxes in the Grand Hall. Please see our newsletter page for more information.
Non-Perishable Items: canned soup, canned fruit, canned veggies, dry pasta, pasta sauce, fruit juice boxes, rice, peanut butter, canned fish, canned meat and protein, baby food, diapers
Milk Cards can be purchased at the office, for students staying at school for lunch
2016 Panorama Hills School Yearbook:
Inside your child’s individual photo package is a white sheet about the 2016 PHS Yearbook. Yearbooks are $30 each. Yearbooks will be printed and delivered to the school in June.
