Highlights:
Our two classes met up with Mrs. Zaharichuk this morning to continue with our We Do! Projects.  After a brief recap of the expectations, students once again worked together with their partners to complete their animals.  There were in depth conversations going on regarding the processes and compromising between peers.  We will continue this work tomorrow.

Today we began to explore the world of poetry.   Students got to hear different styles of poetry and realized that sometimes the words would rhyme, some of the passages were hard to understand and that poems are shorter than stories.  Students got to then try their own hand at writing acrostic poems about themselves.  After being taught how to write proper sentences, it was difficult was students to let go of the usual writing expectations and let their ideas flow freely.

Goodbye to our friend Aubri!  Today was her last day at PHS.  We all wish her luck at her new school and will always remember her smile and friendship!
