Highlights:

We had a Quest Theatre presentation this morning called, Snow Angel!  It was about doing the right thing and how small acts of kindness can positively impact a person’s life.

Welcome back our friend Aylie!  Thank you for sharing about your trip. We loved hearing your stories and looking at your pictures.

Yay... Balzac Billy did not see his shadow this morning.  Hopefully that means we get an early Spring.

This week is letter G… The class is having so much fun listening to the clues and trying to figure out the mystery object! If someone has forgotten to complete any previous letters, please finish them at home, so that your child can present this week!

-Home Reading – Please have your child read around 20 minutes every night.  Don’t forget to ask questions and have conversations about the text.


-Kidsa-z.com Reading – Besides reading the at-home white readers that are going home every day, you may also log on to “Raz-Kids”, using the kidsa-z.com website.  The login information is taped on your child’s purple folder.  The password is the picture cue.

Sensational Science In-Class Field Trip

Our classes will have a presentation, provided by Sensational Science!  Both Mrs. Daniels and Mrs. Leung-Chow’s class will need 5 volunteers to help organize students and run stations.  If you are interested in volunteering for the activity, please email your homeroom teacher.  Please check below for additional information.

SPRING FOOD DRIVE

Panorama Hills School will be hosting a Spring Food Drive from Feb. 29 - March 17. Please bring non-perishable food items (see below list) and place them in the donation boxes in the Grand Hall. Please see our newsletter page for more information.

Non-Perishable Items: canned soup, canned fruit, canned veggies, dry pasta, pasta sauce, fruit juice boxes, rice, peanut butter, canned fish, canned meat and protein, baby food, diapers

PHS School monthly Calendar and newsletters are available on the school website to view and print out

Milk Cards can be purchased at the office, for students staying at school for lunch

2016 Panorama Hills School Yearbook:

Inside your child’s individual photo package is a white sheet about the 2016 PHS Yearbook.   Yearbooks are $30 each.  Yearbooks will be printed and delivered to the school in June.
