To celebrate all the learning we have
done in science with the 5 senses, our classes are creating a multi-media art
project. We will be using burlap, glass,
wool, paint, ink and paper to create a self-portrait. The first step today was to sketch our ear
using a mirror, then we used our sketch and created a model using clay. It was messy, loud and TONS of fun!
Did you know that all authors have to edit their work? Students were challenged to work together with a friend to find at least three spelling errors in their goal writing. Then their job was to use their personal dictionaries to correct their work.
